Article 1 – Definitions

In these general terms and conditions the following terms are understood to mean:

  • Vanue: the company that operates the webshop www.vanue.nl .

  • Customer: any natural person or legal entity that enters into an agreement with Vanue.

  • Consumer: a Customer who is a natural person and who does not act in the exercise of a profession or business.

  • Agreement: any distance contract between Vanue and Customer.

  • Products: all goods offered via the webshop.

  • Webshop: www.vanue.nl .


Article 2 – Applicability

  1. These general terms and conditions apply to every offer from Vanue and to every distance contract concluded.

  2. Before the agreement is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions will be made available to the Customer.

  3. Deviations are only valid if agreed in writing.


Article 3 – The Offer

  1. The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products offered.

  2. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not bind Vanue.

  3. Images are a true representation but may vary slightly in color or detail.


Article 4 – Conclusion of the Agreement

  1. The agreement is concluded at the moment the Customer accepts the offer and meets the conditions set therein.

  2. Vanue confirms the order by email.

  3. Vanue reserves the right to refuse orders or impose additional conditions.


Article 5 – Prices

  1. All prices are stated in euros and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.

  2. Shipping costs are clearly stated before completing the order.

  3. Vanue may make price changes before the agreement is concluded.


Article 6 – Payment

  1. Payment must be made via the payment methods offered.

  2. Vanue may impose additional conditions for certain payment methods.

  3. In the event of late payment, the Customer will be in default by operation of law.


Article 7 – Delivery and Execution

  1. Orders will be shipped to the address provided by the Customer.

  2. Delivery will take place within the specified period.

  3. If delivery is delayed, the Customer will be notified.

  4. The risk of damage or loss rests with Vanue until the moment of delivery to the Customer (consumer).


Article 8 – Right of withdrawal (Consumers)

  1. The consumer can cancel a purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

  2. The cooling-off period starts on the day after you receive the product.

  3. During the cooling-off period, the consumer must handle the product with care.

  4. Return costs are the responsibility of the consumer, unless otherwise stated.

  5. Refunds will be made within 14 days of cancellation, provided the product has been received or proof of return has been provided.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal:

  • Products that cannot be returned for hygienic reasons if the seal has been broken.

  • Custom products.

  • Products that spoil quickly.


Article 9 – Warranty and Conformity

  1. Vanue guarantees that the products comply with the agreement and reasonable requirements of soundness.

  2. Legal warranty applies.

  3. Any manufacturer's warranty does not affect the statutory warranty.


Article 10 – Complaints

  1. Complaints must be reported in writing within a reasonable period after discovery via [email address].

  2. Vanue will respond substantively within 14 days.

  3. Consumers within the EU can also use the European Commission's ODR platform.


Article 11 – Liability

  1. Vanue is not liable for indirect damages.

  2. Liability is limited to the amount of the order.

  3. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.


Article 12 – Force Majeure

Vanue is not obliged to fulfil any obligations in the event of force majeure, which is understood to mean any circumstance beyond its control.


Article 13 – Intellectual Property

All rights relating to the webshop, images, texts and designs belong to Vanue and may not be used without permission.


Article 14 – Privacy

Vanue processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The privacy statement is available on the website.


Article 15 – Applicable Law and Disputes

  1. Dutch law applies to agreements.

  2. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
